Competitors
Keep a list of who you sell against. Blake follows their services, sites, results and filings, and shows which deals you lost to them.
Adding competitors
Open Competitors in the top menu. Admins add a competitor with a name, a website and optional notes. Everyone in the workspace can read the list and each competitor page.
What Blake looks for
Changes to services that overlap yours, new or closed sites in your markets, pricing, outages, leadership changes, client wins and losses in your sectors.
Corporate filings and results: annual reports and accounts, Chamber of Commerce and Companies House filings, mergers and acquisitions, new owners, funding, restructuring and insolvency. These show as Results & filings.
Findings show on the competitor page under What Blake spotted, and the newest ones in the Monday email under Competitor moves. The market radar has to be on.
Deals lost to a competitor
When you mark a deal lost with the reason Competitor, the edit form asks which competitor won it. The Competitors list is ranked by the value you lost to each one, and every competitor page lists those deals.
Reviews
Where review tracking is set up for your workspace, add a competitor's Trustpilot page and switch on Competitor reviews under Admin, Overview. Blake then flags new 1 and 2 star reviews each week.
